Rule 047: Reflexive Pronoun Cannot Act as Subject
Structure / Formula: Myself / Himself / Herself CANNOT be the subject of a sentence
ব্যাখ্যা: Reflexive Pronoun (myself, himself, herself, ourselves, themselves) কখনো বাক্যের Subject হতে পারে না। Subject হিসেবে সর্বদা Subjective Pronoun (I, he, she, we, they) বসবে।

ব্যাখ্যা: কিছু নির্দিষ্ট Verb যেমন: Avail (of), Absent, Enjoy, Adapt, Exert, Pride প্রভৃতির পর কোনো সরাসরি Object না থাকলে অবশ্যই একটি Reflexive Pronoun বসাতে হয়।

Rule 049: Verbs That DO NOT Take Reflexive Pronouns
Structure / Formula: Keep / Stop / Turn / Qualify / Bath / Move / Hide / Shave (No reflexive pronoun)
ব্যাখ্যা: কিছু Verb-এর স্বাভাবিক অর্থেই আত্মঘটিত কাজ বোঝায়, তাই এদের পর অযথা Reflexive Pronoun বসানো ভুল।
উদাহরণ (Examples):
- Incorrect: He hid himself behind the curtain. Correct: He hid behind the curtain. (সে পর্দার আড়ালে লুকিয়ে পড়ল।)

ব্যাখ্যা: পরস্পরের মধ্যে বোঝাতে যখন ব্যক্তি বা পক্ষ কেবল দুজন হয়, তখন 'Each other' বসে। আর যখন ব্যক্তি বা পক্ষ দুইয়ের অধিক (তিন বা ততোধিক) হয়, তখন 'One another' বসে।
উদাহরণ (Examples):
- Two persons: The two brothers love each other. দুই ভাই একে অপরকে ভালোবাসে।
- More than two: The villagers helped one another during the flood. বন্যার সময় গ্রামবাসীরা একে অপরকে সাহায্য করেছিল।
Rule 051: Relative Pronoun 'Who' vs 'Whom'
Structure / Formula: Who (acts as Subject: takes a verb) VS Whom (acts as Object: followed by sub+verb)
ব্যাখ্যা: 'Who' ব্যক্তিবাচক Subject হিসেবে বসে এবং এর ঠিক পরেই সাধারণত একটি Verb থাকে। 'Whom' ব্যক্তিবাচক Object হিসেবে বসে এবং এর পরে অন্য একটি Subject ও Verb থাকে।
উদাহরণ (Examples):
- Who as Subject: The boy who won the race is my cousin. যে ছেলেটি দৌড়ে জিতেছিল সে আমার খালাতো ভাই।
- Whom as Object: The man whom you met yesterday is a renowned scholar. গতকাল তুমি যে লোকটির সাথে দেখা করেছিলে তিনি একজন প্রখ্যাত পণ্ডিত।
Rule 052: Relative Pronoun 'Whose' for Possession
Structure / Formula: Whose + Noun (Possessive relative pronoun for persons/living things)
ব্যাখ্যা: ব্যক্তির মালিকানা বা সম্বন্ধ বোঝাতে 'Whose' ব্যবহৃত হয়। অপ্রাণিবাচক বস্তুর ক্ষেত্রে 'of which' ব্যবহার করা অধিকতর গ্রহণযোগ্য।

Structure / Formula: After Superlative degree, All, Only, The same, None, Any, Little, Nothing -> Use 'THAT'
ব্যাখ্যা: Superlative degree, All, Only, The same, None, Nothing, Little, Any ইত্যাদি শব্দের পরবর্তী Relative Clause-এ 'Who' বা 'Which'-এর পরিবর্তে সর্বদা 'That' বসে।
উদাহরণ (Examples):
- Superlative: He is the wisest man that I have ever known. → তিনি আমার জানা সবচেয়ে বিজ্ঞ ব্যক্তি। (Not: who)
- All: All that glitters is not gold. চকচক করলেই সোনা হয় না। (Not: which)
- Only: This is the only pen that I have. এটিই একমাত্র কলম যা আমার কাছে আছে।
Rule 054: Relative Pronoun Matches the Verb of its Antecedent
Structure / Formula: Antecedent + Relative Pronoun + Verb matching the Antecedent
ব্যাখ্যা: Relative Pronoun (who, which, that)-এর ঠিক পরবর্তী Verb-টি Relative Pronoun-এর ঠিক পূর্ববর্তী Noun বা Pronoun (Antecedent) অনুযায়ী Singular বা Plural নির্ধারিত হয়।

Rule 055: One of the + Plural Noun + Who + Plural Verb
Structure / Formula: One of the + Plural Noun + Who/Which/That + PLURAL VERB
ব্যাখ্যা: 'One of the' এর পরে Plural Noun বসে। যদি তার ঠিক পরে Relative Pronoun (Who/Which/That) থাকে, তবে Antecedent হলো Plural Noun-টি; ফলে Verb-ও অবশ্যই Plural হবে।
উদাহরণ (Examples):
- Incorrect: He is one of the men who has done this. Correct: He is one of the men who have done this. (তিনি সেই ব্যক্তিদের একজন যারা এটি করেছে।)
- Correct: This is one of the best books that have ever been written. → এটি রচিত সর্বকালের সেরা বইগুলোর অন্যতম একটি।
Rule 056: The ONLY one of the + Plural Noun + Who + SINGULAR Verb
Structure / Formula: The only one of + Plural Noun + Who/That + SINGULAR VERB
ব্যাখ্যা: যদি 'one of the'-এর পূর্বে "The only' শব্দটি থাকে, তবে বাক্যে একমাত্র ব্যক্তিকে নির্দিষ্ট করায় Relative Pronoun-এর পরবর্তী Verb-টি সর্বদা Singular হয়।
উদাহরণ (Examples):
- Incorrect: He is the only one of the players who are ready. → Correct: He is the only one of the players who is ready. (খেলোয়াড়দের মধ্যে কেবল সে-ই প্রস্তুত।)
